Wouldn't it be great to get all the guys in a room reminiscing with tape rolling? Preferably video tape.

I have listen to some of the interveiws and there really good. :) Even though they are old they still hold my interest. Maybe because back then I wasnt a fan yet because I was only 9 or 10. Except for the 1999 one.

Patti
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I finally got around to listening to Al's interviews with Crazy Jay (I had heard Bermuda's when it originally aired). I was most impressed by what Al had to say about Kurt Cobain and how Al handled performing SLN in the days following Kurt's death. Showed a great deal of class on both the parts of Al and his fans.

For those who've never heard the extra gory version of TNSWC, it's #3 on Bermuda's Top 27 Al Songs countdown (part of the 3hr+ Al interview).

Thanks Driew, this was a very good find indeed.

I thought that the oldest of the Crazy Jay interviews with Al (1993? The one done while Crazy Jay was still a student at Cal State Fullerton) was an instructive contrast with the infamous "Al wouldn't drink three pitchers of beer with us!" article produced by those other two idiots. In both cases, Al was interviewed by callow and clumsy college guys... but Crazy Jay was a respectful & enthusiastic callow & clumsy college guy who had done his homework, and he got an interesting interview with Al, who showed no impatience or celebrity puffed-uppityness at all.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Have we ever witnessed any celebrity puffed-uppityness in our boy?
