If anyone has the time look for more of these interviews, because if you look in the background there's a whole lot of radio booths. Al also said he was cruising the radio booths. So maybe he told one DJ of a new song on the album! You never know. Just thought I'd ask. I'd do the surfing, but right now I'm doing my homework and doing this. (I'm a good multitasker:biggrin:)

That's probably one of my favorites too. That whole interview made me smile and laugh.

Edited later: Oooooh! Pictures of Al on Day 2!

Seriously folks, after eminem`s bad decision [i also heard secret service is going after him,he got what he deserves ,hmmph] we should hope this new album could be even more succesful that Bad Hair Day,RWS,and Poodle Hat.

On the same page, you can find 4 good pics of Al if you click on the Day 2 link. They're toward the end.

I definitely got the impression that he's just doing his husband/father/useful guy around the house gig until after the New Year, and then he plans to start the new album. But that still sounds promising for maybe something new on tour in March. :)

Bless my dial-up modem, it turns streaming video into something more like dribbling video. It only took me about forty minutes to watch five minutes and twenty-seven seconds' worth of interview. But hey, that just means more chances to contemplate frozen glimpses of Al's face.

That interview was a good example of backstage Al. It captured something of what makes him so attractive offstage and in person: he's such an attentive, involved listener, it just draws you in. Responsive listening is so rare... and among celebrities it has to be pretty near unheard of.

I meant to mention the time thing.

Do you think he really knew the interviewer? They sounded like they had chatted before.

It's possible. Al has been promoting projects with radio stations for a long time. Which makes it even funnier that he missed his "plug" cue.

It just goes to show that he really isn't the publicity machine he claimed to be. Wasn't it a sweetly goofy interview? Not too wacky, but just a little bit Weird.

It was a nice Al fix.

So, what do you guys think? 2006 for ALbum #12?

I'm hoping for 2005. If there's a Next Big Thing by then. Somewhere deep inside Al there's probably a long-pent-up video pleading to be let out into the world. He just doesn't know what it's about yet.
