I keep looking for this CD. Podunkville carries all of the music you want if what you want is Country or Hispanic. Otherwise? Not so much.

It came out in 2001, and took me a few tries to find. Thank goodness for Wal-Mart, the paragon of shopping pleasure!

I found it quite easily at K-Mart. I just need to buy it.

Wal-Mart is notorious for not selling CDs with parental advisories. Did they even sell the "better" version of Ben Folds Live?

I didn't see any advisory on it when I got it. I did see BFL, but don't recall what version it was. What's the difference?

Ben released 2 versions. One with the swearing edited out and one with the swearing left intact.

I bought the unedited version with the DVD. I like to hear Song for the Dumped with "all" the words.

...and to keep this on topic I bought one for Al through his Amazon Wishlist too.

Hmmm. Ben Folds Live...another CD I now have to pick up.

And I agree about Al not having to stay away from stuff a 12-year-old can't listen to. Why should he?

Rockin the subburbs DID NOT get an advisory stamp.

I've heard that Weird Al also did vocals during a Ben Folds show for "Song for the Dumped," which is a very...er...honest song.

EEEEE!!! Al doing vocals with Ben!!! :inlove: When and where was this?!?!?

My heroes.

<sigh>

Anywho, I LOVE BFL. It is my favorite CD of Ben's, and many tracks sound better live (and without BFF)!!!! Sorry Darren. And Robert. :blush:

BFL 's DVD is absolutely hilarious, but I wish they woulda taped EVERY song...there's this one part in One Down on BFL where everyone laughs but it must have been a visual..ya know...

I wonder if Frailly and Suzanne are friends too...hmm..

Wasn't it cool to see Al on that site? It made my day!!! Ben is such a great guy, I really admire him.

Oh yeah...Al too. ;)
