You know, I wonder if Al's covers won't make the list, but will be mentioned because they parody covers that are on the list. In that case, we could see more than one of his covers on the list.

He'll show up. He should at least. Nirvana's Nevermind is probably on the list.
Props to VH1 for putting SOAD's Steal This Album! on the list. Take a look at it and you'll see why.

The only album cover of the 'dork rock' music I listen to that I think is good enough to make the list is They Might Be Giant's "Lincoln".

If Al was on the countdown, I would go with BHD being on the list... it sticks in everyone's head, and with the long-gone Coolio contoversy still looming in MTV viewer's minds, its chances to show up are increased.

It has no cover!!!
That's a genius album. They wrote a song about pizza called Chic n Stu.
Boom! leaves something to be desired though. I hate bands that make fun of the president.

Just checked VH1's site, and Al is mentioned in the list of artists. He'll either be in the show or have a cover on the list, I assume. *duh* Either way, I'm watching.

Another heads up that i found this coming from Musicstation....If you look under 50 greatest Album covers info when you come to the bottom of the Info. You'll see this
.....50 Greatest Album Covers examines music, art and pop culture at its best. Featuring new interviews with The Dixie Chicks, Janes Addiction, Liz Phair, Russell Simmons, Weird Al Yankovic, The Donnas......
Idk about you guys but my guess is that Al will be doing INTERVIEWS only not being on the actual list.....Anything with Al in it is STILL worth watching!

I noticed this too! I think Al will most likely be included in the interviews, possibly commenting on the album covers voted as the best which he may have parodied(?)...Just a thought...
Either way, the Replay will be in heavy Al-related use this weekend...

This is weird - I'm interested in two artists (Al and another) that are supposed to be featured on this show, yet in the photo gallery I see neither of them listed! They're both still listed as being in the show. I know they might be interviewed, but...they both have really great album covers (am I the only one who's wonder why Christina A. is on there?) so I don't know. I'd like to know ahead of time if they're really gonna be on this show because I'll hafta tape 4 hours (this show plus 50 Funniest Moments in Rock) of VH1 while getting ready for a big event tomorrow night. Ah well, that crazy VH1!
