Tell Rhino you want "The Weird Al Show"

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

I went back and voted again with another email addy. It let me do it, so perhaps you just need to wait a bit. It was technically yesterday that I voted, so perhaps you can vote once a day?

I voted! It would make a lovely gift (even though there's no better way to say I love you than with the gift of a spatula...)
Hmmm...something's gone horribly awry here...

Well, I think two spatulas is a better way to say I love you than one. The spatulas represent the two lovers, forever together, flipping hamburgers---wait a minute---umm, nevermind...

I voted too... I just hope they either A) consider The "Weird Al" show a classic animated series or B) get so many votes for The "Weird Al" show that they release it anyway.

I was able to vote four times in a row with four different e-mail addresses. YAY AOL for allowing seven screen names! :P

Does anyone know how this is going? Have they even considered releasing the shows on DVD?

If not, I think it might be worthwhile to send write some hortatory letters to all the big video distributers to try to convince them to release the show. Maybe we could even send some to Dick Clark Productions as well. What do you think?

I don't think anyone's going to know how it's going until there's either a release announcement...or someone gets an e-mail that says, "STOP WRITING TO US ABOUT THIS BLASTED SHOW!"

Writing to Dick Clark Productions, eh? Hmm...I wonder where one would be able to find an address for that... 8)

I would actually recommend writing just to Dick Clark and not worry about writing to individual video labels. Dick Clark owns the show, and they would be the one deciding to release it, and should that happen I'm sure they'd either have a video company in mind or discuss it with Al or Jay.

Rhino's poll is not really guaranteeing that they would do anything with whichever show(s) gets the most votes, but if a sizable number of people type "The Weird Al Show" in the Other slot, it would at least put it in their ear that there is a demand for the show. I personally think Rhino would be the perfect choice for the show, but again, it's up to Dick Clark...so they would be the ones we'd need to convince.

But of course in the meantime, taking Rhino's poll couldn't hoit.
