I think the reson it doesn't work well on computers with Windows Media Player is because of the audio format. Its an Enhanced CD which by default plays in Quicktime. By playing through WMP, the audio quality may fail on some levels or you may loose an entire track. Its all depenedent on what version of WMP you have, what patches you have, etc. Ok, I'm done sounding smart now.

Well I am running Windows XP, and I wasn't able to locate a stand alone cd player. I think its all been integrated into wmp. And even though the enhanced CD part pops up, you can just play from directly from the CD. In wmp there is a thing to play whats in a CD drive.
And I don't think there is an actual problem with my computer or speakers. Because, like I said, the sound quality of other music is great. No problems at all. Just with PH I am having problems.
Very strange problem here.

my computer has no problems at all with poodle hat, or any other cd, and i play cds in many programs (WinAmp, CD Player, WMP, etc.)
maybe it's your cd-rom drive
my computer has a cd burner and cd-rom drive. when i rip my cds for my mp3 player, i found that when i put the cd in cd-rom drive, it always ripped blank, with no sound. but when i ripped it with the cd burner, it ripped great.
so maybe it is your cd-rom drive, and not the program.

I have kind of a different problem with my PH CD in the computer that I didn;t see anyone else post yet. The audio sounds fine, but there are several mispellings in the File names. For example, the artist says Al Yankovich, Couch Potatoe, and there are a few more. And the polka lists all the songs within it. And this is done with Windows Media Player.
