Heck Electric, that's so close to you and me we could come home at night if we wanted to and save on the hotel bill. Of course what fun would that be. How long does Alcon last?

OK, OK. Our towns are both so close that we could each jump in our separate cars and head to our separate homes which are about 40 minutes apart. And we've never met. Thank you and Good night.

It lasts for 2 days. I've only been to ALcon III, so that could be the case again.

I'd be a pretty poor Al fan if I let a little fear of Chicago traffic stop me!
Don't worry about the Chicago drivers. Worry about the Wisconsin drivers that infect Chicago expressways every day, traveling in the left passing lane 10 to 20 m.p.h. under the speed limit. But my bitterness about being exiled in Wisconsin aside...

I love that these are held in Chicago and if we get another one next year I will be among the first to buy tickets. I've missed out on the last two ALCONs. :(

I do not know of any such station in the Midwest. In my 15 years of Al-fandom, I think I've heard him on the radio maybe twice. That's why I bought all the CDs for home, all the tapes for the car, etc. . . .
