Top comments are surprisingly hateful . Who the hell hates Al??

The loudest naysayers are in the minority; don't worry about them. Actually, I've become more unable to believe hate comments, because they all start to look like trolls after a while.

Comments like that also happened on Al's appearance on Tom Green's show during the SOL promos; Tom Green just attracts them, I guess.

Typical internet backlash to something being popular. It's just a part of the hype cycle. Now that Weird Al has had another burst of popularity, the people who have always hated him are going to be really vocal about it.

Wow... people going around spreading Al hate-speech?

Everywhere I go and everything I read: Al's the best, Al's my hero, Al's a legend, Al's a great guy.

i have to admit some of the Tom Green videos where 4chan calls in to his show are pretty funny.
