Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

Okay, well, anyway, it was still a nice interview, and it's nice to see that Al is promoting the new CD in as many places as possible.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Would you care to educate clueless foreighner what's so wrong with that channel? :o
Here's some Australians talking about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMzvDuo_kUk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPr5IPRhiZ4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That should about sum it up.

:vomit: speak for yourself!!

The issue with Fox isn't that it's got a conservative bias, but that they adhere to a pre-determined narrative that does not always line up with the real world. It's hard to think of it as a news channel because the corporate overlords have such a heavy influence as to what is reported, and how.

Sorry, Jon. I'll just delete that. I'll just say that folks with a more liberal mind tend to go elsewhere for their news. I'll just leave it at that. This is supposed to be about the interview, not how people feel about Fox News.

Right, I really don't think we need to have a political conversation (or even a media conversation, which is what this is). Just answering the question posed. It's just an opinion that some people have, and we can now move on. But to be fair - Weird Al did appear on Fox News, so I think a few posts commenting on the outlet that Al appeared on is fair game...

Well put. I think they did a good interview in the time allowed. I wish he could go on an outlet and do a longer one. But hey go media attention! Way to go Al!!!

Al was discussed briefly on Tuesday's episode of "The Five," the daily roundtable discussion show on FOX News. I didn't record it nor do I remember it verbatim, but from what I remember off the top of my head:

Greg Gutfeld mentioned he isn't a fan but he respected how Al showed how you can become successful just by finding something you like doing and going with it.
Dana Perino said that "the Eat It album" was one of the first albums she remembers buying
Bob Beckel said he never heard of the guy
Some other woman on the show said, "It must be a slow news day if we're talking about this."

All of these comments from The Five are hilariously stupid. What's that "slow news day" comment supposed to mean? He has the number one album in the country. And also this is anything but a slow news day. Are you seeing what's going on internationally right now?!?!?!?

But this quote:
Wolfman wrote:Dana Perino said that "the Eat It album" was one of the first albums she remembers buying
is historically significant. As far as I know, this is the first time a former member of the US President's Cabinet (Perino is a former Press Secretary) has ever commented on the record about Weird Al in any way. (Unless you count the time President Obama posted on WOWAY of course.)
