It has nothing to do with the commercials. It has to do with the shear number of awards given out...Al's award was given to him, because their is no time to enclude all the awards in the ceremony tonight. Their are over 105 grammy catagories, their is no time to give all 105+ grammys out tonight, along with special awards, and proforamces (the audiance at the show, and at home, would fall asleep). Comedy album is just one of the many that had to be put on the "not in the show list". At least he won!

On the grammy website (www.grammy.com) I did a seach for "Yankovic" in their Winners Seach on the home page. It lists the grammy awards given to the artists who one that match your search along with details on each win...It says Al won in 1988 for his video called "I'm Fat". I always thought it was "Fat". Are the grammys' wrong for listing the name of the video Al won for?

Ha Ha did you guys see the mikrophone mess up on the Show? It was when Cleine Dione whent on (I spelled her name wrong)

You also spelled Microphone wrong, but no body's perfect...encluding the people at the Grammys (you saw the mic problem..lol)

Ye-gads!!

Did you guys catch the Grammy snafu just now??

They introduce Celine Dion and she starts to sing when Suddenly Celine sounds like a middle aged man shouting stage directions!! Turns out somehow the feed from the director's room got fed into the main broadcast signal. All we hear is somebody yelling, "Turn it up; turn it up!". Then a stagehand hands Celine a new microphone. She is visibly ticked. Then she sings Luther VanDross' song "Dance With My Father Again" ... and does a nice job. Yet I can't keep from thinking the next line might be "And Cook With My Mother Again" ...
