Re: Orgy On My Own
I don't know for sure, but I would guess his friend Joel Miller since the recording is from Cal Poly and they would usually play together at the coffee house. Plus, Joel plays bongos and I think I can hear some in the recording.

I'm not sure. I know for sure Al and Joel were there, but I believe there was 3 people there and it may have been the third person.

Joe Early provided an exclusive recording featuring Al on main vocals and an interview about the song for a Weird Al podcast. Listen here

Re: Orgy On My Own
Never really cared for the song (based only on the Joe Early lead recording), but I absolutely love the upbeat version in that interview. Really rocking!

Re: Orgy On My Own
I just discovered this podcast episode today - and I am SO happy.
You hear quite a lot of the song in it, too! (I imagine Mr. Yankovic wasn't *quite* so happy about this.... XD)

Re: Orgy On My Own
Speaking of Al having other artists sing his songs, which they mention at length - wasn't the original intention that Mary Kay Bergman sing ALL of "Pretty Fly For A Rabbi"?
