Strings Attached Tour 2019

Post by TMBJon »

If Al wants to add a second leg of the Vanity Tour, how about another Vanity Tour with all of the old obscure parodies instead of originals?

I would love this. I've been speculating for a while... On this tour he said MAINLY Originals, and in a more recent one said "At least the first 75 minutes." - I am wondering if he might pull out ones that haven't been done Live, or at LEAST in full, in at least 15 years. My dream for this tour is awesome originals capped off by "Like A Surgeon" (Original Version), and Headline News (Also the Original version). But I know I'm dreaming.

As for the next tour, he did say he was already thinking about it, and it would be very different again, so it could very well be old parodies.

I figured when Al said the majority of the show would be originals, except for the end, he was talking about the acoustic medley/encore. I would like to see some obscure parodies as well. Ooh, Al should definitely bring back concert-only songs.

While I'm not sure what the post-Vanity tour will be, it could hinge slightly on how much new material will be released by then.

I really just posted the all-obscure-parodies idea at the top to provoke conversation about what everyone would want to see Al do next, but now that we know there is an idea forming it makes it all the more interesting... What would everyone like to see?

I'm not sure what I would personally want to see, but if I were to predict what it actually was going to be, I would say that it would be an unplugged/acoustic tour. Similar to the unplugged medley, it would be new arrangements to his older songs (but this time, full versions).
