I had a dream about the tour last night. I was in the 4th row and Al came out before the show and told me he was glad I was there. I told him I was really looking forward to it. Then the show started. They were all on stools and opened with Good Old Days.

One acoustic number I am dying to see live. Brings me right back to the innocence of my youth. Hope it is in most of the sets!
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

I had a thought for a while and I keep forgetting to vocalize it.
He said at one point he was concidering doing a different straight cover every night.
Well I thought it would be really funny if he did covers of songs he's parodied, I.E. Like A Virgin, Bad, Beat It, American Pie, ect.
I had a dream the other night that I was at the concert, and he did "Under The Bridge" by Red Hot Chili Peppers, but after "Together we cry..." he and the band broke into "Give it Away", just like Bedrock Anthem!

I heard Al saying in multiple interviews that he avoids listening to the songs he parodied, in order not to put the original lyrics back in his head.RunningWithScissors wrote:

So, I don't think there is a big chance he would intentionally mess up with lyrics in his head by performing those songs as covers.

Well, I've never heard him say that, but it makes perfect sense. Oh well, it was a fun dream anyway.Margarita wrote:I heard Al saying in multiple interviews that he avoids listening to the songs he parodied, in order not to put the original lyrics back in his head.RunningWithScissors wrote:

Not surprised. That song was done at the 501st bash, so it was pretty much fair game for this tour. And also:
Bummer Hardware Store isn't in the running. Was really pulling for that.
I feel like Bermuda is going to fight Al.Are you going to be seated?
That's the idea. I mean, we'll see how it goes, but right now I'm thinking we'll all be on stools and hanging out.

I think they could do Hardware Store if Al, Jim and Steve alternated vocals in the list part.

They could definitely pull off Hardware Store if they did a slowed down, jazzy or acoustic arrangement of it.
