Re: Newspaper and Magazine Alerts
Not sure this is real or not, (especially considering some of what else is on the site), but if it is... Wow! Odd to see Al stopping his "no politics" rule, but if there ever was a time to do it, this is definitely it. Excited to see where this goes!

Re: Newspaper and Magazine Alerts
I honestly can't tell if we are going to get a song, since so much of what he said was obviously a joke...
EDIT: After reading it again, I am almost certain he is joking.

Re: Newspaper and Magazine Alerts
Looking at some of the other stories on the site, I'm actually doubting if this is even a real article, or if Al had anything to do with it at all.
I mean, Confusion between city of Hamilton, musical Hamilton worries residents of Mamma Mia!, Newfoundland can't possibly be serious, can it?

To be honest, I don't get why a public broadcaster's satire news section would be simply called "Comedy", though. Why does CBC even have a satire news section? They could have left it to Southend News Network.

Re: Newspaper and Magazine Alerts
I knew this was fake once it got to Al explicitly laying out premises for Rhianna/Drake parodies (as if he would do that in any old interview BEFORE writing/recording such a song)

Re: Newspaper and Magazine Alerts
I figured that it was a throwaway idea, just a joke, like he did with the Blurred Lines parody on instagram called "Blurred Heinz". Just something to please the interviewer. I will say, it is a very convincing fake article, as Al's parts are written just like he would act in an interview!Killingsworth wrote:I knew this was fake once it got to Al explicitly laying out premises for Rhianna/Drake parodies (as if he would do that in any old interview BEFORE writing/recording such a song)
