He's been such a huge part of the magic and fun of an Al show for so long. This is making me tear up a bit. I wish him a very happy and restful retirement. He definitely deserves it. Thank you for all the fun and happiness, Hawkeye! The shows wouldn't have been as great without you. Love ya, Hawkeye!

Hawkeye's always been a part of my Al experience and I'm sad to see him go, but I'm extremely excited for him!! 24 years just with Al alone plus a career that extensive is a great one. Congrats to Hawkeye!!! I'll never forget when Al punched you in the face and those mints- I mean, your teeth came flying out of your mouth.
Hope he enjoys retirement!!

It almost feels like Al was aiming for me whenever something was being aimed at the crowd. (Or, it could've been that I was front row center, but let's just pretend he kept aiming at me. )senorconebra wrote:I'll never forget when Al punched you in the face and those mints- I mean, your teeth came flying out of your mouth.
I got showered with mints after that punch... it had such force that the mints hit me and my seat and bounced all around the front row. People started scrambling for them, and it was hilarious. I picked one up and ended up giving it to a fellow fan while waiting for the meet and greet. You would've thought I gave her a million dollars; it was nice. I thought about keeping it for myself, but it would've become a sugary mess, and she was just fangirling hard about me getting one of the "teeth." Never pass up the opportunity to make someone's night; she promised to treasure it forever, and I don't doubt that.
I also got a ton of Al saliva / water from his mouth when he gargled during SLN, and then the bulk of the water when he threw out the cup. Looking back at the photo I took with him, I can even see the water spots on the poster I had him sign.
I also got hit with a decent amount of his chest sweat during Lovr. He was aiming at the ladies around and behind me (unless Al was saying, "Sup?" to me, too... in which case I suppose I'm flattered )

Met Richard many times, will be so weird not seeing him working the stage. Oh that didn't sound too good, you know what I mean. Guy is always down for a good conversation! My guess is his job now goes to Ozz?
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

I don't even think Ode To A Superhero will be performed at the 2018 "No Commercial Potential" tour.QuantumError wrote:Who's gonna hold the harmonica during Ode To A Superhero now?

It might be but it's unlikely.
