I can agree with you on that, Josey. If it wasn't recorded then it's going to become one of the most bootlegged concerts!

Holy cow, what an amazing show.

My friend Max and I got to the Bowl early, and hung out for a bit. We got food and beer, walked around hunting Pokemon (there were a ton at the Bowl - and a lot of other people playing), and ran into the other forum members. Was so fun to see everyone again. And it was great finally meeting Dave in person after all these years.

Straight No Chaser was fun, but I really wish their set wasn't quite as long, giving Al the chance for a few more songs.

The show itself was amazing - easily the best Al show I've ever seen. It was so fun to see the people in the audience who had clearly never been to an Al show before, which there were a lot. There are always a few people who are surprised by the costumes, but there were a lot this time. All the songs were great, but NTWICP and Amish Paradise in particular were both fantastic with the full orchestra. I really hope this gets an official release of sorts - would love to have official recordings of the songs on my iPhone.

Being this was all to honor al's career.. and how epic and one of a kind it is.. there has to be an official release of this.. those short clips I saw were so amazing, I would be upset if it was restricted to wading through thousands of fake livestream links just to see for all eternity.. surely it can't be that.. right? Al? Bermuda?

Hi everybody,
agree to you - two great evenings. So cool to have met a bunch of you guys in real - hope to see you again soon :)

Here are my pictures of both concerts - just put them in a public Facebook album:

Professional enough, if you looked at the screens. It would be easy enough to have recorded what was being broadcasted on the screens, so I don't see why they wouldn't

The show was AMZAZING, the venue was SO HUGE like omg you guys, like three times bigger than the biggest venue you've been in it was crazy, especially when people started lighting up their phones in between Amish Paradise and the encore!!!!! Word Crimes and The Saga Begins were so PEPPY with the orchestra and when it ended Al was just SO HAPPY. Just a beautiful show all around, glad I went!!!!

I saw no crazy camera production crew filming...I'm sure there would have been a crane camera or two had this been recorded for DVD...I'm sure that would have been announced a while ago...like with Alpocalypse Tour when they announced the Toronto shows. Since that wasn't announced, I knew I had to fly out for this... I sure wasn't going to experience this thing on you tube...

If this was audio recorded, I'd love to see at least the acoustic set on the new rarities LP coming up in Squeezebox.
