I said "I think", not "I know" :) . But mainly I'm basing my opinion on my parents' relationship: my mum loves dancing and fishing; dad is a wallflower and finds fishing boring, but he doesn't mind a bit when mum dances with other men or some male friend takes her fishing. And that's why their relationship works. If he'd get even a bit jealous, mum would feel bad about it, and start regretting marrying such a bore who prevents her from having any fun. 'I think' that in a long run, trust is more valuable than some silly jealousy to keep things exciting.

Thank you so much for explaining your point of view.
I lost the love of my life to cancer at a ridiculously young age, but I will never forget how wonderful he made me feel, including the nervousness he felt about me in that situation with the hot guys.
It seems that we all develop our feelings about things according to our own personal experiences. So.... we'll never know how Al and Suzanne feel. We each can give it our best guess, that's all.

When you've been around for a while, you know what kind of people Al and Suzanne are. ;)

Look what I found!

Youtube

Al's voice is absolutely beautiful in this. It has so much charm put into it, and it's beautiful. :inlove:
I would love to see a recorded version of this.

Credit goes to Bridger987 for telling me about it :)

His voice is amazing - the "aahhh" at the end really warmed my heart.

It was a real surprise when I stumbled upon it. I'm still not sure what the reason for the cover was, but I'm glad that he did it. :-)

Reviewing the topic, it seems it was a technical difficulty song, the same way Radio Radio is most of the time.

I believe he's also used it to troll the audience before Albuquerque in Albuquerque.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

That's not the Close to You video I remember, but still a good one! They probably played had Close to You in the mix before they played Albuquerque at the Rio Rancho show in 2007, but not 2012. Not sure about any ABQ shows earlier than 2007, though.
