Re: WOWAY Apprentice: Chat Thread
I didn't think my absence would have such an effect. I go to my parents every other weekend and I really don't feel comfortable browsing fan forums in their presence (they're very nosy, I can't get any privacy there). As for the lack of direction, I really had none in mind, the task overwhelmed me because I didn't know a single thing about it and my mind went blank. Sometimes it happens to me in real life too

Re: WOWAY Apprentice: Chat Thread
To be honest, I didn't the the show would have been hounded as much as it would have.
When we made our own Convention, 2 days long, we had about ~500 attendees. And were talking a small town with little no advertising for the Con itself. The con that usually runs in the same city didn't want to affiliate because some of their staff members held personal vendettas against some of our staff. To be honest, I'm not sure how we managed that number. It was fun, though! We had.. mmm. 5?? vendors, and they were fun to talk to. One of them I talk to at every con I go to. She's lovely!
So, by that, if we used the "weekend pass" for ~500 attendees, that's 22k. That's more than enough to book a hotel conference area + a few side rooms. If we pump that to 1000, (My city has a pop of 60k. LA has a pop of 600k, so I'm taking some liberties in numbers!), that's 45 000. That cost is more than what the ticket revenue would have brought Al to the casino here! And he didn't have to fly or travel!!
But! Whatever! :U I think a theatre-like showing of UHF would have been fun, too. :3 I don't know what else besides ticket revenue attributes to Al's appearances in places, besides being contracted by the casinos themselves. So I could just be talking nonsense, here!

No worries! I saw your message. You didn't see my reply. Basically just said all is well and you have been a great team mate. Now you are a worthy opponent. I can't believe it's down to the final three. It doesn't feel like we have been playing that long. Time goes by so fast.

Well, to say one good thing for me-I DIDN'T QUIT ANYWAY! LOL If there is good stuff to come from this whole president, fine, if not, I guess I will take my humiliation and then take a WOWAY break for a bit. Either way, I do hope Nathan comes along. I am kinda worried about him.
