He may have also been addressing the prospect of him being shirtless in the "You're Pitiful" video that could'be been. I remember him responding with a similar remark when I asked him about this on Reddit in 2013.

A little part of me dies inside each time I hear him say "I'm having a bad hair life," but also I laugh and love him more because self-depreciating humor is very attractive to me for some reason.

I've definitely noticed that he's recently gained more self-confidence. When he told that Belgian girl in that interview that she could call him "sexy," I smiled so much because it felt like he was finally accepting it. He's made this joke before in other ways, but for some reason that felt different. Idk.

I think the Uprising of the Yankochicks and nerds being cool now also helped a lot with that.

It's a subtle remark, but I believe completely sincere. I think that in the 1990's he was outgrowing his "classic" look and didn't know what to do.

I can't find that 1990's clip of him nervously referring to his looks, but in this one he reveals that he's not popular with the ladies. I think that Rosanne's heart genuinely goes out to him. (although she doesn't handle it well.

There are a bunch of wonderful photos of Al with his daughter on one of his wife's social pages but they're private now. I'm sad because it's nice to see a dad involved with their kid. There was a couple of them on the beach and one of them hanging out in Hawaii. Quite a few actually. I think that it shows a man's character as a person.
