Re: Mandatory Tour Chatter
Wait having said that, I paid 450 to meet Sabbath without Ozzy, but I met them with DIO right before he passed so it was insane! For this tour the greets are like 800 to meet Iommi, Geezer and some have the option of paying 1, 500 for a greet with Ozzy, which gives you front row tickets and a 15 minute sit down with Ozzy, that would be wild, but holy cashola, who the hell could drop that amount of cabbage. Al is at least in the 2-300 range, just thought I let people in on that.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

It's okay. The extra money for meet and greets will go directly to the Nina Yankovic Education Fund, thus increasing the potential that she follows in her father's footsteps and we get to continue following the Yankovic family for decades to come. Think of the Czar tickets as a long-term investment!

EXACTLY! The greet money goes right to Al and his family. Good to know your money is going somewhere like that.

Ha! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who called the meet and greets The Nina Yankovic Education Fund. It is one long term investment that I wish I could contributed to this past August. Long term investments are good business. Thank you for that lesson.TMBDon wrote:It's okay. Re: Mandatory Tour Chatter
Nina's college fund is way past paid for already I presume
I prefer to advance my own meager fund
I don't begrudge people charging what they want, but I can think it was a bit overpriced. I didn't have over $1000 (buying for 4 people) just laying around the house, unfortunately
I do think doing a separate charge for those wanting the meet and greets would be better, though. That would let those just wanting seats the opportunity to buy that for less money. I might have been able to swing even $150 seats at the time I bought them instead of what I ended up with(which, thankfully, were a bit better than I figured).

I said Nina's education fund, not college.Wizzerkat wrote:Nina's college fund is way past paid for already I presume
In addition to book smarts, she's gonna need to take accordion and parody-writing lessons, which don't come cheap.

Pssh....what good is "saving the planet" if she can't play the accordion or write parodies?

Re: Mandatory Tour Chatter
Guess that wouldn't be following in the footsteps of her father, even though Al seems to do his part for the planet. She may be the only shot at a future parody artist we actually care about.
