July 4th! Milwaukee, WI! Summerfest
http://summerfest.com/2015-lineup/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; lists Al as a ground stage headliner for summerfest. I'm very excited to finally see a WI date show up. I've boycotted summerfest the past few years because of the prices and the high number of generally unappealing visitors, but July 4th is a great day to get down there. I believe it's also been a few years since he's played summerfest?

According to the Summerfest website the show doesn't start until 9:45. Looks like I'm gonna miss the end. I turn back into a pumpkin at 11:55.

where are you seeing that this is something you need tickets for? I've been on the summerfest website for 10 minutes and can't find anywhere to buy them. I know in the past he's always played a GA show at summerfest and that's what I was expecting this time.

I got an alert from Ticketmaster in May announcing an on sale date for May 15. The BMO Harris Pavillion has reserved seating in the front and open GA in the back. There was a nominal $5 charge for a reserved seat. Pretty sure the reserved seats are sold out now.

If anyone is on the fence about catching this show, I know a guy who has two tickets and, due to some unforeseen circumstances, he would rea-a-a-ally like to not have two tickets. Message me for details!

Well this was fun, The crowd was great. I think my favorite parts of this show were the audience joining in on Foil and Word Crimes. Foil especially brings out the harmony in people.
I loved the new arrangements in the acoustic set. I hate hate hate that butt ugly costume Al wears for Perform This Way.

It is still an improvement over the peacock, at least from the point of view of Al's comfort. Plus. light-up ice cream cone!I hate hate hate that butt ugly costume Al wears for Perform This Way.

pretty great show even though I was far back. that's what I get for walking around summerfest all day. I agree the crowd was great. I think last time I saw Al at summerfest it was raining. I'd love to see Al do acoustic only concerts in the future.
