Your assumption is correct. That song was kind of like "Party in the USA" or "Gangnam Style" for its time. It was impossible to NOT have heard that song.

And just like those songs, "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts!

Not a surprise that these two songs are leading. I went with Toothless People because I can barely listen to it. With Girls I at least like the original which makes listening ok when I come upon it.

Yeah I was gonna mention Ringtone too, but even though a lot of people thought it was the weakest track on Alpocalypse, I don't think it's half as bad as Toothless People and Lunch.
