Best Parody Target
Forgetting about the now well-known Weird Al parodies, which of these five original songs do you actually like the most?

This was hard. I wouldn't really choose to listen to any of these songs, but Swift's is the most palatable. Yet, I absolutely love all of the parodies. That's part of Al's genius, I guess.

I actually enjoy Taylor Swift, but I also don't hate Nothin' On You. I picked Taylor Swift because I actually own one of her physical albums... yeah.

As much as I dislike the human-gimmick that Miley Cyrus has become, I can't help but love "Party in the USA," in the same way I love "Happy".
Taylor Swift is a close second. She's one of the only country artist for whom I own an entire album.

I really do not like any of these original songs, but on the other hand none of them (aside from maybe TI) stands out as especially bad. If I had to pick one (and I do, because these polls are mandatory) I would go with Nothin' On You.

Re: Best Parody Target
Taylor Swift has always been a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, You Belong With Me especially. So that one.

I voted for the Miley one because he really stuck it to the CIA and I hate the CIA.

I like Taylor Swift's music just fine, but I thought You Belong With Me was her most overrated song when it came out. Still, I agree it stands out above the rest of the Alpocalypse fodder and I loved what Al it so much it made me appreciate the original a bit more.

Re: Best Parody Target
I now realized that I haven't so far heard "You Belong With Me", "Party In The USA", and "Nothin' On You" (I didn't even know "another tattoo" was a parody)...
