Copying a bit from other people's lists, but these all seem like slam dunks.
"Fancy"
"Blurred Lines"
"What Makes You Beautiful"
"Radioactive"
"Royals"
Honorable mentions to "Happy", "Thrift Shop," "Call Me Maybe", and "All of Me", which all seem much more suited to being in the polka than having a parody. The first because it has too few lyrics and just feels like it should be a polka. Thrift Shop is already kind of funny and so a parody would be redundant, but I could easily see it in a polka. Call Me Maybe is similar to Happy in that it's a bit repetitive and would really fit the polka style well

If he parodies One Direction I would kinda hope that it would be of something more recent like Story of My Life or Best Song Ever instead of something from 2011 but idk I'm fine with whatever 1D he ends up doing What Makes You Beautiful would be great actually

I think it's a pretty safe bet that One Direction will show up somewhere on the album. I'm not really familiar with their songs, but I do know that one, so you may be right that it would be a more recent one.yankochick38 wrote:If he parodies One Direction I would kinda hope that it would be of something more recent like Story of My Life or Best Song Ever instead of something from 2011 but idk I'm fine with whatever 1D he ends up doing What Makes You Beautiful would be great actually

Re: Guess The Parodies Contest 2014
I'm gonna go with four popular choices...
-Iggy Azalea, "Fancy"
-Pharrell Williams, "Happy"
-One Direction, "Best Song Ever"
-Lorde, "Royals"
...and for the last one, I'm gonna go back a little bit and say "Someone Like You" by Adele. Yes, it's an old song, but Adele was easily the biggest musical phenomenon since Alpocalypse and may be too big to ignore (that's not a fat joke!).
I feel like we should have some bonus questions, because so many of the lists are similar that we're probably gonna end up with a ton of ties.

I didn't realize there are points for guessing the order, so I am going to resubmit thusly:
Iggy Azalea - Fancy
Pharrell - Happy

Lorde - Royals
Imagine Dragons - Radioactive

Go ahead and change the order as much as you want, guys. You still have until Wednesday night to get these in.
