I would love it if we had confessionals...I would've made use of it last night watching everyone work on the challenge. Actually, if anyone wants to keep one in Word or something and post it after the game, I might go ahead and do a host log and do the same.

Re: kidnapping, once somebody is kidnapped, whether they choose to switch tribes or not, they cannot be kidnapped again (unless everyone on the losing tribe already has been). So no, they can't just spy for a round or two and come back. I mean, there's nothing to stop them from continuing to work with their original tribe, but a scheme like that would have to be a very calculated risk.

Anyway, although the challenge is not officially completed, points for all nine puzzles have been awarded and we do have a winner. I'll be posting the solutions and results in a few minutes, and then we'll get a head start on Tribal Council...

Assuming the kidnapped person decides to defect, do they get to then see the "kidnap" thread. Or does that stay hidden for the rest of the game?

They won't see it--the kidnap thread (and the TC discussion thread) will be AWOL until the game's over.

How does that work then? If someone is kidnapped, you said they have the chance to fully become part of that tribe.
Or is the kidnap thing unique to the first challenge

I assume since the kidnap thread is numbered it will be moved somewhere else before the kidnapee is moved into the tribe

Kidnapping will take place every round before the merge. Here's the sort of timeline for each kidnapping:

-Losing tribe votes in TC as the winning tribe discusses the kidnapping
-Tribal Council results posted
-Kidnapping thread (and TC discussion thread) will immediately be archived
-Kidnapped member temporarily joins other tribe
-If the kidnapped member doesn't switch tribes, they'll be moved back to their old tribe right before the next challenge is posted

So each round brings a fresh kidnapping thread and a fresh TC discussion thread. Nobody on the tribe will be able to see those threads once the kidnapping takes place.
