Re: Alpocalypse HD
I ended up buying the Alpocalypse Blu-Ray. I don't have a Blu-Ray player though. And I have no intention of buying one any time soon. And even if I did, the Blu-Ray's probably region locked anyway. I just have this intense compulsion to buy everything with Al's name on it :p

Volcano's owned by Sony, and according to Wikipedia, they're been releasing most of their Blu-Rays region free.
But then Wikipedia also says that the tallest Christmas tree in the world is three inches high. So, y'know. Take that as you may.

I don't know about Alpocalypse HD, but the Alpocalypse Live Blu-Ray is not region-free

The Alpocalypse Live BD was released by Comedy Central, which is owned by Viacom, a totally different media empire.

Re: Alpocalypse HD
If anyone has this, I'm curious as to what the menus look like. Are the exactly the same as the Alpocalypse Deluxe DVD or are they different?

Re: Alpocalypse HD
Got a BluRay player recently. Are there any good special features on this, or is it just the videos?

Re: Alpocalypse HD
This is a very bare bones release. It has the three extra videos from SOL, but that's it. The closest thing to a bonus feature is the alpocalyptic sound effects when the menu is on.
I happened to be in Barnes & Noble today and there was a 40% off all Blu-Rays sale and this was in stock, so I ended up getting it for about $11. Not a bad price. It's pretty enjoyable to "watch" the album rather than just listen to it. Having a copy of Perform This Way, Craigslist, Polka Face, and White & Nerdy in full HD is worth the price alone.

Re: Alpocalypse HD
I wish this had the album mixed in 5.1. If you're gonna put your album on blu-ray, why not? Especially given that he made a 5.1 mix of his previous album.

Re: Alpocalypse HD
I hate when they only do that sometimes.
