Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

I don't really get the having the YouTube videos on DVD. You can watch them anytime you want online. Heck, you can even download them and put them on a DVD yourself. Maybe the increased quality with the Blu-Ray version, I can see. But, personally, I'd much rather have other concert-related bonus features. Saying that, since it looks like there's going to be YouTube vids, I hope that the Weird Al SHREDS Vid from Toledo is on there.

The increase in quality will be very minimal given that the source is an iPhone. The incentive is to have them all in one place as part of an officially released product. I highly doubt anyone will buy this product solely to have those YouTube videos, but it will be a nice little feature to have some day when YouTube has been deleted in the Great Internet Purge of 2015.

Youtube videos do seem like a really weird and random thing to put onto a concert DVD.

But hey, now we all will have a copy of the Weird Al sex tape

As far as YouTube videos go, I was thinking they'll have all the ones you guys mentioned plus the two "tech support" clips since I can't really think of any other purpose for those being filmed. Al will probably introduce these the same way he introduced the deleted scenes on the UHF DVD.

Maybe you should actually read the posts in the topic instead of asking somebody to summarize everything for you.

I got a press release from Comedy Central the other day about their October programming, which included a paragraph about the concert. There's nothing new in there but the picture (which I've linked to, it's too big for me to attach to the post) they included was interesting. That appears to be from Eat It. That leads me to believe that at least part of the medley will be included in the Comedy Central airing. Since the press release was only about the TV special, not the DVD/Blu-ray, it seems odd to include a picture from Eat It if it doesn't air. Since the consensus here seemed to be that the medley wouldn't air in the Comedy Central edit, I figured I'd post this as an FYI.

And here's the text about the concert:
“‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Live! – The Alpocalypse Tour” (World Premiere)
Saturday, October 1 from 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Shot this summer at the venerable Massey Hall in Toronto during Weird Al’s tour to support the release of “Alpocalypse” (his first full-length studio album in nearly five years), “‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Live! - The Alpocalypse Tour” is his first televised concert special in over a decade and features hits off “Alpocalypse” like “Perform This Way” (Weird Al's parody of Lady Gaga's “Born This Way,” which garnered over six million video views in its first week of release), as well as many of the legendary artist's greatest hits, including “White & Nerdy,” “Amish Paradise” and “Fat.”
