nice.. 90 minutes should be the entire set with no songs left out!! getting more excited for this release now. Hope the blu-ray is less than the usual 22.99 which to me is a rip-off

I can't access the Best Buy page for the Blu-Ray anymore. The link I have says that the page isn't there. When I did see it, though, I remember it being around $20, although that was their price, and I think that the list price may have been more than that.

The price that they have for the DVD is $14.99 with the list being $19.99.

A full Weird Al concert in Blu-Ray quality that you can watch any time? $19.99 seems more than reasonable.

I, for one, think it's pretty badass. An accordion on fire in one hand and a sword in the other!?!

:magic:
Anytime you can use the word "badass" to describe anything Al-related is a good thing. I don't think it's a parody of anything. It's the Alpocalypse! Al needs the sword to ward off the crazed fans (who could be zombies, but I can't tell) behind him, one holding a flaming beach ball!! Accordion on fire? - definitely badass. I like it.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Well, I'm personally on the fence about this artwork. On the one hand, I am a little disappointed that Al decided to go with an illustration rather than a picture from the actual show but on the other I do quite prefer it to the first WAY LIVE (where they did just that) and Weird Al Show DVDs because those just looked poorly put together. The first live DVD just looked bland and both of these just looked kind of garish. I guess I'll just have to wait until I see a full size version of this new cover before I make mi final judgement, but it is already growing on me.

By the way, I just checked the mothership and apparently the first live DVD is the only one you can purchase from Al's site for some reason.

I don't know who did the artwork for that cover either, but if I had to venture a guess off the top of my head I would have to say either Hilary Barta or Scott Shaw. I base that on seeing their artwork on an old Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" comic book. Actually, I just noticed that the style of art looks like The Venture Brothers so maybe someone who works on that show did it.

I don't know if this link was posted yet, but I found a site that you can pre-order the DVD. It also says that this DVD will feature behind the scenes footage. I don't know what the footage will be of, but this sounds interesting! http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/p ... sku=D84107" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I recall correctly, the old live video was supposed to have backstage footage, but they cut it in the end, 'cause they're stupid.

The description also says, though, that SFTCTM is going to be in the concert. So...I'm not sure how credible that description is.
