Weren't the concert portions of "There's No Going Home" also filmed in Canada?

Suppose they're filming both shows so they edit together the best of the two shows.. (allows for outtakes)

And hey, if they're still doing the rotating songs in the new setlist, that would be cool to make sure each one is featured between the two shows.

Fingers crossed for a Blu-ray/DVD release....can't afford upgrading Dish Network just to get Palladia or whatever fringe music HD channel this will probably appear on.

I don't think you'd be able to get a passport that quickly?

At any rate, this is terrific news! I just hope it's not on some DirecTV/Dish/Comcast exclusive or obscure ones you guys mentioned and it's some basic cable channel. I'm also hoping for a future DVD release, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. This will probably be as much of the concert performances as they can get cleared because the mothership doesn't indicate which concerts were taped for all the Biography/Behind The Music type retrospectives (or what show was filmed for the WAY LIVE DVD for some strange reason, but we all know which one that was anyway). They only seem to tell us which shows were taped for "There's No Going Home" in 1996 and Al's "VH1 To One" special in 1992. Wikipedia says that WAY LIVE was released on 11/23/99 (although I couldn't find the original airdate for the Disney channel special for the life of me) so I guess we can expect to see this some time in August. I'm kind of hoping for a new blog entry from Al soon that could explain what exactly this is for (and maybe a few more details on the DVD portion of the album).

That's odd, I would think tv filmings would be listed. Also, maybe we should have a separate topic for all this speculation? I dunno, it kinda fits but kinda doesnt

You need a passport to go to Canada? I thought Americans didn't

Used to be we didn't need one. The rules have tightened up.
