Here's some proof that you can't take Rubén anywhere. It's text from a newspaper article that appeared in an Australian newspaper. Seriously!
Poor Rubén.

Such is the life of Ruben. He's the Rodney Dangerfield of music. Hopefully he didn't have to go through anything too grueling while he was detained. We love you Ruben!
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I love that picture of Al. Wonder what happened to Rubén? Obviously he eventually turned up. Didn't he?

Authorities just thought it was the American Idol guy and they wanted to beat the crap out of him!
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

HOW DARE YOU SPEAK OF HISPANICS THAT WAY!!!! I'M HISPANIC AND I DIDN'T FIND THAT FUNNY!!!
Sorry for the flame, but I see NO humor in that whatsoever.
As for Ruben Valentierra, I'm sure there was a miscommunication at the airport.

Yeah... Catra is walking a thin line with that comment. Though there is no malicious intent, it still can come off as offensive.

I'm sorry if I came on too brash, but hearing that kind of thing upsets me because I've been to places where folks don't think highly of hispanics. They think we're all lowlifes who are welfare stricken and have no respect for others.
On Topic: I think that's what happened with Ruben. I think the folks at the airport must've made a miscommunication and left him at the airport.
