It's great to know that George Lucas has a sense of humor, but it sucks that Yoda, undoubtedly (don't get on me jon) his best of the two SW parodies, won't even be mentioned.
Speaking of Yoda, if Lucas gives us that CGI smurf in the video collection, I'm giving up on him forever.

How do you know it won't be mentioned? Also, Lucas has always had a sense of humor, it is his own insecurity with his work and quality and whatnot that is his real problem.....that and being totally bat[~feces~] crazy.JCM wrote:It's great to know that George Lucas has a sense of humor, but it sucks that Yoda, undoubtedly (don't get on me jon) his best of the two SW parodies, won't even be mentioned.

Re: The Saga Begins
Yes, a strength that has resulted in three of American cinemas most beloved films having crappy CGI plastered all over them, and the only way we can see these films in their original, unchanged form is by watching crappy, non-anamorphic LaserDisc rips. A strength, indeed, JCM.JCM wrote:And his real strength, remember that.KRHbacon wrote:it is his own insecurity with his work and quality and whatnot that is his real problem.....

Don't get me wrong, I don't like it either, but sometimes a director will have to sacrifice antiquity for convenience. Like I was saying before, I hope he makes the Blu-Ray its original magnificence, but I won't be surprised if he doesn't.

The Saga Begins
It is supposed to have the original cuts and the special edition. Although we will never see the original as Lucas was still editing while the film was in theaters. The premiere was different from what we know as the original

But isn't that what the post-production stage is for?minnick27 wrote:Lucas was still editing while the film was in theaters.
