So are they pretty much in Hawaii permanantly? Or do Cali schools just get this much time off for holidays. Seems like they were there for Thanksgiving for a while, and if they are there now does that mean Nina gets 2 weeks off for Christmas?

Most private schools in Southern California get this coming week and the next week off for Christmas break.

Re: The Weird Al Says Tweet! 2.0
Most schools get two weeks off for Xmas. I was surprised private schools in CA seem to get 2 weeks off for everything-Thanksgiving, spring break, etc. Regular schools that I have ever known only get several days to a week for Thanksgiving and only one week for spring break.
Is my dude a dweeb?

I've just joined Twitter and I'm impressed that Al has almost as many followers as Stephen Fry. Everyone in the UK follows Stephen Fry (he has just over 2m followers).

Plus the snow factor here. One year, '96, I left school for Christmas Break on December 22nd, and during the break it snowed heavily and I didn't return until the end of January. Granted, we were covered with a heavy blanket of snow then. Depends upon the schools, though. Some schools may have an extended Christmas/winter break and maybe only 3 or 4 days in Spring. A friend of mine went to a school where they got 2 and a half weeks in December but maybe, 3 days after Easter.minnick27 wrote:Thats nuts. And nobody from any other countries follow him.
That would just be plain silly.
