the main difference that I see is that the one from his youth has 7 large white rectangular buttons next to the keys (on Al's right side). The accordion in the Yoda video from Austin has only 5 of those buttons. Unless is it possible to modify the accordion by removing those buttons, I'd say it's a different accordion.


EDIT: Al also did his traditional one-handed accordion lift in Austin, which I don't think he would do with his fragile boyhood accordion.

I would call the button observation definitive. It's clearly the same size, manufacturer, etc., as the one he got as a boy and campaigned with for years (and which he lifted overhead many many times) but you got me with the buttons or keys or whatever they are.
