The Onion has a piece by Al in their new "Say Something Funny" column-- wherein humorists are requested to strut their stuff in 250 words or less. OK, so I'm picky. My spell-checker counted the words at 258. OK, so I figure, Al is even pickier than I am, so I deleted all the numbers (numbers aren't words, right? They're numbers) and the last phrase beginning "Whoops--" and it came out at 249. I KNEW Al wouldn't let me down.

Read it. It's Al at his finest, at least within the limits of the e-mail gender of humor.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

So.....what happened with Rush and the dwarf in the bar? That's my only sticking point with the article....other than that, great find, OE!
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Comes to show you that Al's a genius on and off the stage! If I ever meet Al, I'd be honored to tell him that.

Very funny. Al is such a card... I think Ben getting eviscerated by a peacock is pretty darn funny.

You know Al is doing his job well when he encourages us to look up things like this and this .
This means something. This is important.
