I know Jon, I don't understand why that connection is being made either. The only thing I find interesting about the alternating songs on the published setlist, is that You Make Me & Good Old Days are listed as the regular songs. With Franks and YDLMA, listed as their alternates. I expected it to be the other way around, since Franks and YDLMA were performed first at Rehoboth.

I'm pretty sure that "Frank's 2000" TV" and "You Don't Love Me Anymore" were also played slightly more than "You Make Me" and "Good Old Days," so that confused me as well. I've been to three shows this year, and the former two I've seen twice, while the latter I've only seen once.

I said 'spell the end' because when they post a setlist it means that it is done being used. They didn't post the Lynwood Tour setlist until after the '08 leg, because that was when they were finished with it.

Yeah so, with the exception of the three outstanding dates, they are done with this setlist. Correct. But that fact alone doesn't mean You Make Me is going to be removed from the setlist any more than it means Amish Paradise is going to be removed from the setlist.

It's possible that You Make Me & Good Old Days might be permanent parts of the setlist for the UK leg. I've actually never seen Franks in concert (it was replaced with Headline News by the time the Alapalooza tour came to my area), and I'm holding out to see it live before I head to youtube, so I'm not sure if it requires any special props or instruments, but YDLMA requires a guitar to smash each night, so they may have decided to drop that requirement for the leg.

You Make Me is an incredible live song. I hope it stays in the set for a good while. Just like seeing DTBS live again was amazing, even though I saw it something like 10 times back on the RWS tour. Now he just needs to get When I Was Your Age into the next setlist!

Good Old Days requires conga drums, Franks is just the accordian that'd he already have for the polka, You Make Me requires a keyboard, and then YDLMA requires the guitar...

I think you may be right that they don't want the other venues to have to provide a cheap guitar to smash...or it may just be that they prefer You Make Me and Good Old Days...I know that I do...Both are amazing live performances...

It was Frank's and YDLMA for BOTH of the UK gigs I saw.
I've been told by an attendee of that event that additionally he did Pretty Fly For A Rabbi & and Angry White Boy Polka at the ATP festival in Minehead which seems weird to me. I'm wondering if that person was mistaken? He did say Al did a full two and a half hours there though..
Really strange

I wish there were any confirmed reports about that. I guess he could change it up since the Minehead festival did cater to a more rock-only crowd, and it was a longer festival...hence, the need for rock songs and a longer set. Woulda been really cool to hear the Angry White Boy Polka live again!
