Re: 2010 Tour
Yeah...that looks like it would have been a fun show to go to...
I think it'd be interesting to see some different videos, if there were different takes from the audience perspective. It was interesting to see the first of these special videos in Toledo, and it's different takes...with the Al SHREDS! video.

Re: 2010 Tour
Y'know, I've been thinking lately that maybe the "rotating songs" on this tour aren't really decided as "randomly" as they might have been on the SOL tour. They must have to take each venue into consideration. In a way, each venue must really decide what songs Al and the band will play for them. For instance, Al can't play YMM in a small venue that only has one video screen instead of three because the words "YOU MAKE ME" are going to flash (with one word on each screen) during the chorus. If the venue can't provide him with a guitar to smash, he obviously can't play YDLMA. Then, they'd obviously be forced to play "Good Old Days" with congas that probably belong to Bermuda (either that or the venue would have to provide the congas instead of a guitar) Anyway, I'm sure that all must have been outlined in Al's rider for this tour.

2010 Tour
The congas are brought along, there's nothing in the rider about them. And of course the songs aren't random, that'd be silly. I'm sure they have it planned out ahead of time what songs happen on what night, and if the venue neccessitates a change they will change it

Re: 2010 Tour
Is the rider for this tour available online?
As far as I know, the only part of the alternating songs that would be in the rider is the guitar for You Don't Love Me Anymore...since he asks the venues to provide him with one. Al told me that he basically decides what songs to perform based on how the venue is set up. Looking at the stage, acoustics, etc...while not performing the exact same set as the night before.

Re: 2010 Tour
Seems like in general no one has been going to the last week or two of shows. Maybe it's just that Jeremy stopped going.

Haha...I know...these last few weeks have been killer...
Getting ready to rev up again, though...Flight to CA at 6 in the morning! Then, a few more trips after that before the tour's over...

After the OC Fair show on Friday night, I snapped this picture backstage which I thought was rather amusing:

Re: 2010 Tour
Does anyone happen to have footage of the "flipping through the channels" intro from this past tour? On youtube, the only good videos that anyone has are from the SOL tour.
