OH! Thanks for that, I was trying to figure it out after but one viewing without notes.

Same pig as last week. No longer itchy though.

someone else posted that in the New Polka 2010 thread (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8595); I just reposted as a courtesy. But you're welcome anyways.
I thought the show was awesome; I'm going to get to a more-detailed review in the near future. :)

Wow Dave these pictures are great. I love the knee close-up!
So I guess based on that nametag we can guess that Disney provided Al a full costume for Skipper Dan?

I went to this show last night - my first Al concert! I was up pretty high, but I still had a good view of the stage.

After the show, I was just standing around the hall and I saw Ruben go through one of the big doors that said "Show room." He was carrying Sharpies and when someone opened the door for him, it hit him in the face. Later when he was near the merchandise table, he signed my copy of RWS and I took a picture with him.

It was a great night!

We got into Oneida, NY 4 miles from the casino the night before around 8. Beautiful drive up to the area, loved it...Decided since we had such a run of stuff in a short time period to just take off this Monday, so basically just relaxed all day. Had a nearby Denny's for breakfast and dinner. I felt kinda bad for not meeting Dave for dinner, since I had previously accepted...I just basically was kind of sick all day, and didn't want to ruin their dinner by sneezing through it. Of course, when I got to the concert, that all went away anyway...had my mind on Al...after all I was at his feet...

Got into the showroom after getting lost through the casino around 7:10. Getting lost in the casino was fine, though...there were some interesting promo areas, especially a painted wall featuring Al. Once into the showroom, I met the other people at the table. There was a couple from Ottawa already there and Ron as well as some other people filled in later. Talked a little about some past Al shows, my tourchasing, and such. Dave came in around 7:30ish. Then, we chatted until the show began.

Such an awesome show. Great view, as always with a stage table there. It really was amazing how far away Steve and Jim felt. Some interesting unique views that you don't usually get because I was so close to Al. It was incredibly funny when Al sang the "never had a date, I couldn't inflate" line to me in You're Pitiful. I called my girlfriend after the show and said, "Honey, Al just told me you were inflatable." She got a laugh out of that. Very nice show.

After the show, Dave and I picked up a few different promotional items, had a pretty good chat with Ruben, and then hung out with Trixie and her crew. They were really cool people. We took some different pictures of 'us Al nuts'. Overall, fun evening...wish I could have seen Al, but ah well...I've met him before. Just fun being with other Al fans.

Thanks Jon. I was taking weird pictures because I'll probably never be that close again. ^_^ I was impressed with the attention to detail on the "Skipper Dan" outfit and especially the name tag. I mean, who, besides maybe the first two rows, will see that? Makes me think he tracked down an authentic outfit and name tag.

I don't think it would be too hard to ask Disneyland and purchase a costume from them, especially since I know most cast members are absolutely in love with the song. And the name tags are cheap and can be made on the spot.

I was thinking it may have been more of a Nelly/Vokal thing, but either way same deal whether they bought the costume or had it provided. I'm sure Disney doesn't mind the free publicity though.
