QUESTION: What's up with the meet and greets? Is that the only way to meet Al after a show? What do you guys normally do,Wait by the bus, or what?

Re: 2010 Tour
Well if you are lucky enough to get a backstage pass you get to meet him that way. And it all depends on the venue as far as where a meet and greet will be. Some places the buses are behind fences so you cant get to them. Other times you can just hang out and Al will eventually come out. But I dont normally go right to the buses because security gets a little uppity about this. Alot of venues start off right away with "Al will not be signing autographs, please leave the area or we will call the police" I tend to not believe them because usually one or more of the guys in the band are usually hanging out and tell us Al is going to come out. But remember that it is not guaranteed that Al will meet with the fans. Im about 50/50 with meet and greets. Some of my own circumstances and some of Al not having time. So just find some friends and see what happens

Here's how it generally works:
-There is no guarantee for a public meet and greet. If you wait around long enough, either near the buses or in the house of the theatre (venue depending), Al and/or band members may come out and meet with people. If Al does do a public meet and greet, a couple of organizers/security will ask you to form a line. Then, one at a time, you'll get to talk to him and get a photo and/or autograph. In most cases, your time is very limited. Some places, the security will actually say "just one autograph per person" or "just one photo", etc, in an effort to keep them on schedule. Public meet and greets only take place after Al is done with his aftershow obligations. Friends, family, and various other "friends of friends that know people" have aftershow passes and get to go backstage and meet with him about 15 minutes after the show. This means you will be waiting by those buses for quite awhile. And, like I said, even after you've waited for even an hour or longer, it's still not guaranteed. Some variables that affect the chances of a public meet and greet are things like weather (if it's outside), how many people are standing around with you (the fewer, the better), where they have to be next and when, whether family is at that show or not, how many aftershow passes there were, etc.

Not that it matters anymore, because the tour's been cancelled.

◦A Numbered, Limited Edition Set of Weird Al Trading Cards
■50 Cards Per Set
■No Two Sets Alike!
■Bonus! - 5 Additional Silver Metallic Cards (exclusive to this package)
I dont recall reading that the sets were different, nor do I recall reading about the metallic cards when I bought for the Keswick

Re: 2010 Tour
Yeah, those addition item/descriptions started on the WeirdAl Presale for Show #2 at OC Fair. My guess, is there can't be too many additional cards made then 100. I figure they think you'll, at most, buy 2 different VIP packages. I went for the VIP for Show #2, even though, I'd already previously purchased the first type of VIP Package for Turning Stone.

They've never been offered before, to my knowledge. I am guessing that they'll be pictures from concerts, cards based off of certain songs, etc...They'll be interesting receive. Should have my first VIP Package by June 7, so I guess I'll find out then.
