The brightside of that is that it *might* be the case that people are becoming familiar with the song now, but holding out on purchasing until the whole album arrives. By the time that happens some of these songs will seem as if they were hits and hopefully people will look at the tracklist and say Ooooh I like that one, and that , and that... I heard them on the internet... maybe?CatraDhtem @ August 15, 2009 04:57 am wrote: Well, sadly, it doesn't look as if "CNR" is going to chart in "Billboard" for its debut week. There's still a slim chance that it could squeak in near the bottom of the magazine's digital chart, but it looks like it will definitely be shut out of the "Hot 100."
This bums me out a little only because it was doing so well on iTunes compared to the other "Internet Leaks" originals. It was doing better than the Lonely Island stuff, and they have easily cracked the "Billboard" singles chart. Oh well.

Eat It made the very low 30s on release in UK. Theres not been another UK top 40 hit, but his albums are surprisingly easy to find in decent record shops.. which says a lot reallyGuyWhoIsAnonymous @ August 15, 2009 05:46 am wrote: Besides, Al's strong point has always been album sales and charting, not singles. Sure 'Eat It' and W&N were big, but SLN is the only other to crack the Top 40.

Without our country there would be no Al to have number one singles in your country.Grom @ August 15, 2009 02:54 am wrote: Who cares about the US? He hasn't had a number one single in your country. Australia freaking rocks!
Anyways...back on topic, CNR is still pretty awesome! (That is all, carry on.)
You can call me GEAH (GreenEggs&Ham) or Kat...I'll respond to either one.
