I made a little video of Sand Sculpture Al, and although I couldn't figure out how to Twitvid it, I did get it up on YouTube: Sand Al
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I like your video, Helen!

Thanks for the heads up on the clips, Louise! They're awesome!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

And by update, you mean they removed the words "OC" and "Orange County" out of the videos, so that it could relate to Puyallup Fair as well. They may have even changed the other interviewed guy as well. There's a few other cuts as well (like the removal of Al saying he came up with the phrase "infotainment"). Disturbing.

Yeah you're right, but the "infotainment" quote was still there yesterday. Pity they edited that out, it was cute Oh well, it means the Al's Brain clip is slightly longer than before which is ok as well. I REALLY wish this song was going to make it onto the new album... sigh. I know Bermuda said that it lacked context without the video.. but... "Pancreas" anyone? I love the Brain Song, and it really belongs as a part of Al's body of work (lol)

E-mail from the OC Fair that just arrived:

Back by popular demand...
"AL'S BRAIN: A 3-D Journey Through the Human Brain," which thrilled over 250,000 fairgoers last summer, returns in 2010 to the OC Fair!
