I'm not going to drag my big camera gear to the fair... but I always have at least a little point and shoot on me. I get pretty good pictures out of that little thing- I'll post a few, of course.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. I have a nifty little PhD (I like that!) that I've been taking with me more than my big camera. It takes passable pics, and I'm not all that worried about it. And it fits in my pocket.Orthography Enthusiast @ August 06, 2009 10:50 pm wrote: I actually bought a new PhD* camera tonight, but now I may be too embarrassed to pull it out in front of Kristine.![]()

I did go hear Jim last night (and the Chinese acrobats who were doing their darndest to drown him out with their soundtrack
), and this time I have digital proof of the event. Give me a bit, I'm not home right now and the camera is. Saw Melissa, Kristine and her honey too.
And Al's Brain, of course. For something like the seventh (and eighth) time.

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
