*ahem* I want to know, because I usually give up on things if they are too hard.

Do you play any instruments? How's your coordination? I think the biggest hurdle is not being able to see what you're doing, you have to do it by feel.

I've played the trombone before. I can probably do good about the not seeing the notes part.

I know we're all still reeling from the Grammy academy's decision to give polka the boot, but this is still June, so I think it's important that we remember this:
Learn to play the accordion. You can always make a living with an accordion.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I'm thinking of restoring (as in, giving it new straps and fixing a couple little problems) my grandfather's old accordion. He put it in my possession, so I think I might even learn to play it sometime.

But for now, it's just a really cool rare-type accordion.

My current wallpaper

I made this wallpaper at least 5 years ago. That picture is one I took from the front row during the Poodle Hat tour. One of my favorites.

:D
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Nice... I own an accordion and most use it as a gimmick for my band's live shows.

Here's one of our songs that features the accordion prominently (although it tends to pop up in other songs in more subtle ways)
