Did anybody ever noticed the part where Al sung backwards before they knew about the backwards message? I didn't until I read about it, and then I listened to the part where I couldn't understand, and noticed that the last word was "wow", which is a palindrome.

I'm pretty sure I noticed it, but I can't be sure. It was a while ago when I first heard IRL.

Its so weird to hear it backwards, he starts out slow and then the words go fast. Its really cool though, and definitely one of my Al favorites, gotta love that rockin' beat!

This is a really, really good song. I just wish it did have one more verse, as stated above. The song's too short. Guess I'll just have to listen to it some more :P

Regarding Larry's age, as was discussed above, I would say he grew up with the narrator, so he probably went to high school with the narrator during his prank-pulling hey-day and then was in his late 20s or early 30s when the narrator killed him...

I always thought they were about 15-16, then the in the last verse they were a few years older.

I always assumed that Al was an adult in this song, and Larry was a teenager in the neighborhood who enjoyed torturing Al with pranks.

BS, Grom, and I are triplets!

(When it comes to interpreting IRL, I don't think we share the same set of parents)

Yeah, I think mum would've told me if I was part of a triplet set, with a brother and sister.
