Hahahahahaha! That was great Elleanna! I like the way you drew Al running away! Classic! :P

Okay as promised here are some of my latest creations, although my camera distorted the images. I am so getting a scanner next year!

Germs 1 (This is colored pencils, comfort zone)

Germs 2 (New medium, made some mistakes, but not a bad effort!)

Yoda, yo-yo-yo-yo Yoda (stupid camera, what happened to Al's nose!)

Okay the last two are my attempts to step outside my comfort zone and try new mediums. I think I need a lot more practice, but its fun so I'm going to keep with it! :P

Eleanna, awesome comic! Thank goodness he's never run away when I've given him cookies.

Tori, nice work! I like how you wrote AL with the torn fishnet letters. Very creative!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Thanks! Yeah can't seem to get that image out of my head. I think I have drawn like 5 other pictures of him like that!

Nothing wrong with that. It's a very nice image. I wouldn't mind having that image stuck in my head. Experiencing that performance live is something I'll never forget. Hmm, I've never made a Germs Al cookie...sounds like an interesting project....

Here is an Al cookie I made using the Create a cookie feature over at the website for Better Homes and Gardens.

Christmas Al

Here's the link for the site:

Have fun!

 That's great Patti! Almost looks like one of the ones that you really do! I might have to try that with the gingerbread men that I make every year! Isn't that awful that I have been an Al fan for all these years and have never thought of that! :S

Here's my first Al pic in quite a while...

He looks like Medusa, but other than that I'm rather happy with it!!! (done on computer paper, so I can't ink it! :( )

Inspired by the drool topic!

Actually you can ink on computer paper. I do it all the time. My pen of choice is the Alvin Drafting and technical pen. The nibs come in varied sizes and they produce a clean crisp line. Using a brush tip pen will allow you to also get some sweet line variation, and I do it all using cheap brand X computer paper.

If you want an easy method of inking without wrecking original pencils, I set up some basic tutorials here:

http://www.ufotofu.net/tutorials/

I do highly recommend drawing with a color pencil (such as blue) so you can knock out the sketch later on-- but cleanup of a graphite pencil should be TOO hard. I imagine you can reduce the opacity of the pencil lines down low and reprint it out and ink that, and then you'll be able to clean out the graphite in photoshop or a similar program.
Aron-- Only the second accordionist to ever sit in the trunk of Torsoboy's DeLorean. Al was the first.
