If Al wanted to, it wouldn't be much a stretch for him to claim "This is my 14th album.. what a stupid number!"

I mean, PATW could 'almost' count as an album..

Of course PATW "counts" as an album. It's as much an album as "Bob" is a video.

Yes, it was a side project. Yes, it was a collaboration and he didn't write the music. Yes, it was published under a different record label than his own. Yes, it was in a completely different format than any of his other albums.

But...it was produced in a studio. It was a full-length album. It was composed of new material. So, YES, it is an album. Not a standard Weird Al album, but an album just the same. Case closed.

I never said it wasn't an album, but I see what you're saying, Jeremy. Yeah, ok, so there wasn't a video for it, either, so that does make two albums with no videos.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Terrible.

For several reasons:

1. Whatever You Like won't be the lead parody. It wouldn't make sense because by the time the album comes out the song will way too out-dated (it already is a bit outdated).

2. There are way too many parodies. With 10 parodies, 1 polka, and 3 originals, Al wouldn't make enough money to make it worth his effort.

3. Most of those parody ideas are wretched. "She's a Cry Way?" "It's Now My Dime?" "When You Look Me Curly Fires?" Are you kidding? Those are horrible. The only one of those that would even have a shot at being somewhat clever would be "YouTube."

4. "Polka-ing Around" Horrible title for a polka. I don't think Al is the kind of guy to join in on the Internet cliche of adding "-ing" to any random words and pretending that it's grammatically correct to do so. Aside from that, he'd never put a polka second on the album.

5. There will only likely be four remaining parodies on the album besides WYL, and you can bet that at least 3 out of 4 of them will be parodies of songs that haven't even come out yet.

*counting down the minutes before someone says I'm picking on the newbie*

Hey, he asked "What do you think?" Don't anybody yell at me for answering his question. :stern:

Okay, Okay, "bruce the duck".

1. I never said the lead parody would be "Whatever You Like". On PH, the lead song was "I Bought On eBay" and it wasn't first. so the lead song on the new album doesn't have to be first either.

2. Well you do have a point that there were too many parodies. I was trying to keep an open mind about all possibilities he could parody.

3. I do admit that "She's A Cry Way" and "It's Now my Dime" were terrible parody ideas. I just thought that "Life Is A Highway" and "It's Not My Time" were two popular songs Al probably would/could parody.

4. Got any better idea for a name of a polka song? Well, I guess you could do something like "Polka Dots". I just wanted to represent a polka song. And why wouldn't a polka song be second on his album? It's just completely random.

5. You're not necessarily true that 3 out of 4 of the remaining parody songs probably haven't come out yet. For example, say Album 13 is set to come out December 2009. A year from now. And "Whatever You Like" came out a year before Album 13, which is 2 years after his previous album, SOL. On his last album, SOL, Al had multiple parodies that came out only a year after his previous one, Poodle Hat, which was the year 2004. Like "Confessions Part 2" came out 2004, "American Idiot", etc.

After hearing this, I wanna hear other people's feedback. post a devil >:) if you think Bruce (which is terrible) and an angel O-) if you think me (which is somewhat good)
