I'm excited; I had an inspirationAL idea...here it is!

I'd like to announce the Formation of a club, the OWL Club. OWL stands for Older Weird Ladies, and it's a club for Al-Gals of a certain...er, level of maturity. Basically, Al-Gals over...hmm, 35? Should I go all Logan's Run and say 30? 40? If you consider yourself an Al-Gal who's much closer to Al's generation than Nina's, who's more of an Al-Woman (but we still use Gal 'cause it rhymes!), then please join the OWL Club! Post here to join!

The WOWAY OWL Club...Mature but Mighty.
We are NOT too old for this foolishness!

Meetings:

Place: Here, in this topic (hey, we've got bills to pay and rugrats/significant others to supervise; we can't go travelin' all over the place! Not with our Arthritis! )

Time: Whenever. ALways. The Internet Never Closes!

Why: Because we GET each other and we get why Al is so singularly magnificent.

(Big words are allowed in the OWL Club! )

Snacks:

(we ARE Owls, y'know) Please dispose of your own pellets.

Club Officers: None, we're mature enough to maintain order without structure.

Benefits: Purely SociAL

Enrollment is (mostly) open! Join the OWLs! No 'chicks' uder 30 or male persons (though you're free to lurk).

First Order of Business: That Alfy Yankovic sure is a cutie-patootie!

Now you kids get off my lawn!

I hope we can have a face-to-face meeing of the OWL Club at Al-Fest next summer. 'Til then, here's good. Any New Business?

I don't know. I just don't see any reason to seperate us gals by age groups. It kinda seems elitist in a way. We gals have the drool topic. I think that's enough.
