Yeah, come to think of it, I never read/hear him talking about Harry Potter. Ever.

But I'd love an HP parody.

Much more likely would be a Harry Potter reference in a lyric somewhere.

It's definitely the parodies that sell the records. Hands down. Mainstream radio certainly doesn't play his originals. Once in a while, but even then it's only "Dare to be Stupid" or "Christmas at Ground Zero", at least around here.

I'm just saying, in general, I usually find the originals to be just as funny as, if not funnier than, half the parodies he does.

The parodies are good, mind you. But I wouldn't trade something as good as, I dunno, "You Don't Love Me Anymore" for a song like "Spam." While I like "Spam", I don't find it nearly as funny or offbeat as YDLMA.

OK, OK. But seriously, don'cha just think, if an HP parody came out when the whole premise was popular, that would be too obvious? Like I Kissed A Girl parody nowadays?

That's true. With that in mind, I would like to see a parody based on Pogs on the next album!
