Just got home a few minutes ago from Scranton. :z

I'll be a bit more thorough tomorrow, but I can say that this was a great show, Al messed around with Albuquerque quite a bit, and he even let a young girl hold the mic for a little bit with pretty hilarious results. ("I love you, Al! I want to marry you, Al!")

We got to say hi to a few people from here, including ludovica64 and albinodwarf27. :w

The rapid-fire shooting function of my camera, along with a new 16GB media card, led me to take about 1,000 pictures tonight. I'll start working on sorting all that out tomorrow and uploading just the needed portion of that tomorrow. :Y

You took 1000 pictures? Why did I even bother to bring a camera!? That's so great.

Loved seeing everyone and appreciated the escort to the parking garage!

WAYfan, I have two pics of you with Al that I'm emailing in a couple of minutes if I can locate your email address - if you don't have a message from me, please PM me with that address, ok?

The girl with the microphone's name was Amy, and if you thought she was entertaining with the microphone, you should have seen her when she met Al and the band. I think she proposed to all of them.

Albuquerque was hilarious last night! Al really let the kids up front participate.

That's too funny!

She really should have focused her efforts on Ruben, since he is the only one who is still single! :P

A great show. This one was about the kids.. particularly Austin and Amy who were up the front giving it large. Amy got to hold the mic! Pretty funny. You should have seen her parents faces! Austin got to shout "Albuquerque Holiday Inn" and some other poor kid got the mic in his face on Yoda and he froze up.

Nancy and I were TOO close to the stage to get much involvement, my feet were actually on the speakers, but there was some eye contact etc with Al, especially in Pentiums and I'll Sue Ya
Mostly it was Steve though, (now a real life friend :) ), who was messing about and laughing with us I couldn't see much of anyone else, like I said, we were so close all the bits of kit were in the way. It was OK though, I had "my" show in Columbus and the whole experience has been mind-blowing, especially my mad excursion with Steve on Tuesday afternoon!

We had Storm Troopers and a very short Darth Vader, and some other Star wars Characters and uniforms I wasn't familiar with. Amongst VERY many others we had Wilkes-Barre Donuts, guacamole donuts, donut filled donuts, donut holes etc etc... and Albuquerque generally was messed about quite a lot. It was a fantastic show. The SLN dancers were awesomely good, graceful and both very pretty indeed (You should have been there Minnick!) We complimented them afterwards and they were thrilled to bits.. as was their dance teacher. I managed to see EVERYONE after the show (amazing really, considering how wildly busy it was) and have a full set of autographs. I'm not sure how I didn't end up with a pic of me with Ruben or Jon, but that is the case sadly. I think Nancy was looking after Amy (We had an extra pass somehow so Nancy took the special needs girl Amy and she was a bit more than a handful!) and so wasn't ready there with the camera at the right moment I guess.

Sad. I got on very well with both of them though. I will HAVE to come back on a future tour, just to get the full set!

After the show there was a lot of fun as the band members decided to redecorate Dave's tattoos and give their images a make-over!

Adrian, do please keep as many of the 1000 pics as possible. I don't mind them being a little fuzzy anyway. I cant wait to see what you have.
It was fantastic meeting more WOWAY forummers and

My best show yet. My cousin I left at around 6:00 and without very much traffic we got to Scranton just about when the doors opened. Only problem was, we accidentaly went to the Library and had to walk a whole bunch in the rain and flooded steets to get across a few streets to the theatre. (Unfortunately, no Rock Hall footage was shot.)

We waited in our seats, going to the bathroom, etc. until Fun Zone started (and I started jamming). Al did the first few songs and during Wanna B Ur Lovr, he got in the audience. When I was sure he couldn't come anywhere near us, he got right in front row and put his foot in my cousin's face!

Rest of the show was pretty great. Most energetic I've ever seen Al. During Albuquerque, I went up front and got to jam with Al right in front of me. I think it was right after the first chorus (before "So I crawled...") that he just stood there and looked right down at me, a crazy look on his face. He actually held out the mic for me to shout "Albuquerque Holiday Inn!" which I didn't do as well as I thought, I was so surprised.

OH, I almost forgot. I got Nivana Water!!!!!!!!! (wish I'd gotten the cup.)

Isn't Scranton, PA where Harry Chapin's song, "30,000 Pounds of Bananas" set?

That's what I said too! Why do I even bother? With Adrian and Jackie there, I'm just gonna leave my camera home from now on. One less thing to carry.

Yeah, Austin and Amy did an awesome job during "Albuquerque." The poor "Yoda" kid... but it was so funny!

They're called Jawas.

The tattoo makeover was a ton of fun! Maybe more-so for the guys in the band! Image Someone will have to post pictures.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!! :birthday:
THANKS!

The venue itself was probably the coolest I've been to! It's was a Masonic Temple which was deceptively bigger inside than it looks from the outside. There were lots of secret passageways and stuff and the elevator looked like it came out of an old hotel. Oh yeah, and the best thing was that it was run by The Golden Girls. We had good seats, fifth row, right behind Jeremy and his mom. My old touring buddy, Sue, and her boyfriend, Rick, were there too so it was nice to see her again. The concert was really good. The "Yoda" boy and off-script "Albuquerque" were a lot of fun. I didn't get home until 3 a.m. because after the tattoo makeover, Jackie, Adrain, Anne, and I spent a very amusing hour in the parking deck loitering!
