Here is me answering your question an hour after you asked it.

Well, I was hoping you would respond to my response to that...
But I suppose it doesn't matter now...
Still, I don't know if I'll be able to go, but I hope so...

hey all... i used the search function, but all the came up was hard tix (thermal paper tickets). so i guess my question is gonna be the first time its been asked:

to those that had printed your concert ticket in 'e-Ticket' format (the ones that come straight out from your own inkjet/laser printer), who's actually decided to laminate them to protect them before the show? it rained here a couple nites ago and the rain damaged part of one ticket (nowhere near the barcode, thankfully) when i was leaving the house to put em in my car. hate to think of the possible threats it may encounter for the next 3 and a half months...

i know e-Tickets have barcodes on them, but i'm sure the scanners can still read it thru the laminate. i suppose i should just call the venue and ask them about it, but i figured i would ask here first to get a general consensus about the idea/subject.

cheers........

I would not laminate them. I would keep them in a safe dry place -- in a large envelope.

Laminate them after the show if you wish to keep them as a souvenir.
This means something. This is important.

I also would not keep them in your car. Cars get broken into more than houses do, trust me, I had Al stuff stolen. Luckily I got it back, but still.

Thermally printed concert tickets will be ruined if you heat laminate them. I would not recommend doing that even after the show if you wish to keep it for posterity. I would only use no-heat, self-adhesive laminating sheets.

Aren't e-tickets usually a pdf? If so, couldn't you just save and reprint if needed?

With the tour starting up later this month, any speculation to what Al might sing about in HN?
