I like that. I like the flip book parts best.
Al's not in it unless any of the anonymous arms belong to him.
This means something. This is important.

Hey, those guys look like the band from the "Gump" video! I liked it, it was fun. :) The flip books were cool. Parts of it reminded me of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion "Wail" video, which Al also directed.

The video is now linked on Al's myspace. I tried to watch from that link, but it wouldn't load. Perhaps I can try again later.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I just watched it on Youtube. No problems with it loading there. I loved it! The flipbooks, the snazzy backgrounds, and the hands singing. Brilliant! Like Dave said, it did remind me of the Wail video, but the one shot of Chris Bellew jamming, kinda in a sitting position, with a solid background behind him reminded me of the Rockin' the Suburbs video, too.

Great job, Al! I'm sure The Presidents will ask you to direct another sometime.

What exactly does the director of a music video do? Did Al decide on some of what will happen, or just guide everyone for how to act?
